Whether you are city trippers, business people, group travellers, school classes or family holidaymakers – havenhostel offers every guest an affordable retreat with that certain something.
In addition to double rooms and family rooms, handicapped accessible rooms, multi-bed rooms or a suite can be booked. We also offer special rooms for guests with dogs.
When furnishing and equipping the rooms, we have paid attention to allergy-suitable wall colours, floor coverings and fabrics. No matter what special needs allergy sufferers have for their room or food – we are able to respond to them. Smoking is not permitted in the entire house.
Our spacious double rooms with 3-star standard are equipped with double bed, desk, additional seating, wardrobe, TV and a bathroom with shower. An ideal retreat for couples and single travellers.
The barrier-free 2-bed rooms are close to the lift. The bathroom is barrier-free and therefore perfectly suitable for people with walking aids or wheelchair users. The desk is wheelchair accessible.
Our spacious double rooms with 3-star standard are equipped with a double bed, desk, additional seating, wardrobe, TV and bathroom with shower. Furthermore, there is a bunk sofa for 2 persons here. Optimally suited for families with two small children.
Our spacious family rooms offer plenty of room for young and old. A children's travel cot is available on request.

We accept the following cards:
EC and Maestro cards, Visa and Mastercard.
You are also welcome to give us the details of a VISA or MASTERCARD credit card. We need the name of the holder, the number of the credit card, the expiry date and the security code.
We reserve the right to authorise a credit card prior to arrival.
For individual bookings, cash payment or advance bank transfer is also possible. Please make sure that we receive the amount at least 3 working days before arrival in order to be booked in time.
Invoice payments are only possible in exceptional cases and require a written request or an acceptance of costs from an official body (company, headmaster's office, school authority, etc.) with stamp and signature - we will check this and inform you as soon as possible whether an assumption of costs is accepted.
Up to 24 hours before the day of arrival, individual rooms can be cancelled free of charge. In the event of cancellation at short notice after 3 pm on the day before, we charge 90 per cent of the room or bed rate. In case of no-show without cancellation, 100 percent will be charged.
Smoking is not permitted on our premises and is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. If a fire alarm is triggered by unauthorised smoking or the smoke detectors are deliberately tampered with, we accept no liability. Any costs incurred as a result are to be paid directly on site. If smoking has taken place in the room, an extra cleaning fee of 250 € will be charged.
We wish to treat other guests and residents with respect. For this reason, all rooms, corridors and outdoor areas are closed for the night after 10 pm. Non-observance of the nightly rest can lead to expulsion.
The maximum payload of the lifts must be observed. We accept no liability in the event of improper use. The costs incurred are to be paid directly on site. Third parties are only permitted access to the rooms after prior registration at the reception. The havenhostel may deny access in individual cases. For security reasons, the public areas are under video surveillance.
Our reception is open from 6:00 - 22:30. If you want to check in after that or check out especially early, you will find our self-check-in terminal at the night entrance. There you can authenticate yourself and encode your room card, which will give you access to the hotel. If you have any problems, you can always call the emergency number stored there.
Check-In
The rooms are ready for occupancy from 3 pm. Luggage can be stored in the luggage room if you arrive early. If you choose Early Check-In for 25 € when booking, you are guaranteed access to your room from 11 am.
Check-Out
Check-out is possible until 10:30 am. If you want to sleep in late, we recommend our late check-out service for 25 euros, with which you don't have to check out until 14:00.
We warmly welcome your four-legged friend. Please note that only certain room categories are available for guests with dogs. For a small fee of 15 € per night, your dog may stay with you. Please understand that your dog is not allowed in the breakfast area. Please note that you are only allowed to bring one dog.
KeyCards (electronic keys) are issued for each room at check-in. Additional key cards can be borrowed at reception for a deposit of 10 €. On departure, these must be returned to reception. The loss of a KeyCard will result in a charge of 10 €.
The havenhostel has a bar and a lounge. The consumption of brought-in goods in these areas is not desired. Exceptions must be agreed with the havenhostel management. When using the Wi-Fi, the provisions of data protection and the protection of children and young persons must be observed. Violations are subject to notification.
