Conditions of participation

The organiser of the competition is the havenhostel CuxhavenKapitän-Alexander-Straße 16, 27472 Cuxhaven. This competition is in no way connected to Instagram or Facebook and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by them.

What is there to win?

We raffle 10 exclusive VIP tickets for HAPAGS ROCKT! 2025 - the music highlight on 26 & 27 December 2025 in Cuxhaven. Each VIP ticket has a Value of approx. 140 € and includes admission for both days of the event, drinks and catering included. 

The ticket is only in conjunction with a booked and paid overnight stay at the havenhostel Cuxhaven awarded. A separate redemption without an overnight stay is not possible.

Participation period

The competition starts on 5 November 2025 and ends on 9 December 2025, 11:59 pm.
Participation after this deadline will no longer be considered.

Prize draw

The winner(s) will be chosen from all valid entries.in by random draw determined.
The draw will take place on 10 December 2025 will take place. The winnersThe winners will be notified by direct message.
If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, we reserve the right to reallocate the prize.

Eligibility to participate

All persons from 18 years with residence in Germany. Employees of havenhostel Cuxhaven and their relatives are excluded from participation.

Data protection

The personal data collected as part of the competition (e.g. user name, contact details) will only be used to organise the competition and will then be deleted.

Liability & exclusion

• Cash payment of the prize is not possible.
• Legal recourse is excluded.
• The VIP ticket will be only in conjunction with a booked and paid overnight stay at the havenhostel Cuxhaven awarded.
• Should technical faults affect participation, the organiser accepts no liability.
• We reserve the right to terminate or adjust the competition prematurely for important reasons.

Data protection information for competitions

As part of our competitions, which we organise on our social media channels (e.g. Instagram or Facebook), for example, we process personal data exclusively for the purpose of carrying out and processing the respective competition.

What data is processed?

We usually process:

• the public user name or profile name on the respective platform
• and, in the event of a win, the contact details required for processing (e.g. name, e-mail address, telephone number if applicable).

Purpose and legal basis

The processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of organising the competition, i.e. to determine, notify and hand over the prize. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (fulfilment of contract) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the implementation of marketing campaigns and customer loyalty).

Transfer and storage duration

The data will not be passed on to third parties and will only be processed internally. All personal data will be deleted after the competition has ended and the prizes have been handed over.

The competition is not connected to the respective platforms (e.g. Instagram or Facebook). The havenhostel Cuxhaven, Kapitän-Alexander-Straße 16, 27472 Cuxhaven is solely responsible for data processing in the context of the competition.

Rights of data subjects

Participants have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of their personal data as well as the right to data portability in accordance with Art. 15 et seq. GDPR. They also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
