Fire alarm
The hotel is equipped with a fire alarm system connected directly to the Bremerhaven fire brigade, so that an alarm is triggered automatically in the event of a fire. The acoustic alarm sounds throughout the building to warn everyone present. Escape and rescue plans are located on the room doors as well as in the corridors and public areas and show escape routes, assembly points and behavioural instructions. In the event of an alarm, the building must be exited immediately via the marked escape routes and the assembly point must be visited. The instructions of the emergency services must be followed. Once the cause has been clarified, the fire brigade will release the building and end the alarm.

- free internet via WLAN in the entire hotel via the open network "HOTSPOT_havenhostel" (just agree to the usage agreements, no password is required)

- Automatic mode with permanently low and thus noise-reducing ventilation power and humidity sensor (power is increased when showering, for example)

- If the refrigerator is switched off, it can be activated via the switch box („25“).
- To use the extractor bonnet, pull it out to the front.
- The hobs are activated using the corresponding switch in the kitchen unit.
- Coffee pods for the Tassimo machine and a bottle of water are available free of charge (once on arrival).

- Hair dryer, multifunctional mirror with two control panels. The left control panel is for switching on the lighting, the right control panel is for switching on the mirror heating so that the mirror does not mist up when showering

Fire alarm
- Our hotel is equipped with a fire alarm system that is directly connected to the Cuxhaven fire brigade. In the event of a fire, the fire brigade is therefore alerted immediately and automatically. The acoustic alarm is sounded throughout the entire building, regardless of the fire detector that has actually been triggered, in order to warn everyone in the building. On every room door as well as at regular points in the corridors and public areas are the escape and rescue plans, from which the escape routes, the assembly point in the parking area at the side of the building, as well as information on what to do in the event of a fire or accident can be found. In the event of an alarm, we hand over responsibility and control of the situation to the fire brigade or, if requested, to the police and rescue service. All persons in the building, including hotel staff, must comply with the alarm and leave the building immediately via the direct escape route outside to the assembly point. In the event of a false alarm, the fire brigade is responsible for releasing the building and restoring the fire alarm system as well as the acoustic alarm after a fire has been ruled out. As a rule, the alarm will sound until the fire brigade has found the cause of the fire or determined a false alarm.

- Keep windows closed, especially when temperatures are high or low, as this is the only way to ensure effective ventilation.
